Biannual visits allow your dentist to spot potential issues early, perform professional cleanings, and keep track of any changes in your oral health. Regular cleanings remove plaque and tartar that daily brushing and flossing might miss, helping prevent tooth decay and gum disease.

Who Needs More Frequent Visits?

Certain people may need to see the dentist more frequently. If you have ongoing oral health concerns like gum disease, a history of cavities, or chronic conditions like diabetes, your dentist may suggest visiting more than twice a year. Pregnant women and smokers are also more prone to dental issues and could benefit from more frequent visits to prevent complications.
